WATCH: Ontario police urge motorists to slow down after 3 pedestrian crashes

Ontario Provincial Police are urging drivers to slow down and exercise caution while driving in the GTA after at least three collisions involving pedestrians left victims in serious condition Sunday evening.

OPP Constable Grant Hawkins said a 26-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in North York and is fighting for his life. Another person was taken to hospital in stable condition.

The officer also said a 49-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle near the Yonge-Dundas intersection in North York and is hospitalized in serious condition.

A third incident occurred in the University Parkway and Miller Road area when a 66-year-old man was struck. He was also rushed to hospital in serious condition.

There have been no arrests and police say they will be releasing more information after speaking with witnesses.

Following the collisions:

–34-year-old woman from Sherbuk area, also hospitalized with serious injuries

–56-year-old man from Richmond Hill, also hospitalized with serious injuries

–7-year-old girl from Oelwin, also hospitalized with serious injuries
